Our background: Over 28 years of innovative, award-winning UI.

Our principal consultant, Jeff Garbers, brings over a quarter-century of software design experience to bear on your user experience challenges. Jeff has designed and implemented award-winning software products as far back as the early 1980's, in markets ranging from personal information management (Time Manager, the first PIM for IBM PCs) to communications (the Crosstalk family of terminal emulation and file transfer products) to collaboration tools (Open Mind). He served as Chief Architect for Motorola's Platform Software Division as well as heading up the Interaction Design Team for Thoughtmill, a leading software project consultancy.

With extensive experience in Windows, Mac, traditional Web, and rich Internet user interfaces, Jeff's strong written and oral communications skills, engineering knowledge, and passion for good UI make him a "force multiplier" for your project team.

He serves on the board of TAG Consulting, a society of the Technology Association of Georgia, and is an active volunteer and participant in the FIRST robotics programs. He is a member of the Interaction Design Association, the Usability Professionals' Association, the Information Architecture Institute, and the Association for Computing Machinery.

He holds a MS degree in Information and Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an AB in Mathematics from Wabash College.

Jeff lives in Roswell, Georgia, with his wife Debbie and three young children. He's also 6'9", and no... he doesn't play basketball (but thanks for asking!).
